This past Saturday we had the priviledge of riding the Kennedy Zoo Loop training ride which took us through the beautiful Rouge Park and the “countryside” of Toronto’s East end! Who knew that all of this existed within the city and just mere minutes from downtown! It’s well worth the ride out there.
We started on our way at 9am and arrived safely back at the station at 11am. This included a slight train delay along the way which turned out to be the longest train I’ve ever seen!
This Saturday we’ll be off to Kipling station for the Kipling-Meadowvale ride which is 46 km. Slowly making our way up to the century mark, but I’ll need to complete some rides on my own if there’s any chance of doing the hairshirt in late June.
Until next time!
